The international art exhibition "Art Expo" promotes creators of applied art, gathers artists, galleries and individuals, with thematic exhibitions, handicrafts, antiques. In 2025, it will be held from March 18 to 24. Academic, educated and self-taught painters will have the opportunity to present themselves, and it is specific for its sales and promotional nature.
For exceptional achievements in fine arts, the Novi Sad Fair awards the "Sava Šumanović" Award for stimulating and effective contribution to developing artistic ideas on our stage.

ART EXPO in 2024
The "Art Expo" exhibition was held from March 18 to 25 in the Hall of the Novi Sad Fair. The event traditionally promotes creators of applied art, and gathers artists, galleries, and individuals, along with thematic displays, handicrafts, and antiques. Academic, educated, and self-taught painters had the opportunity to present themselves.
In front of the visitors, in addition to paintings, icons, watercolors, sculptures, handmade jewelry, works of art created from materials from nature that have been given a new purpose, toys, precious stones, minerals, corals... there were two thematic exhibitions; an Exhibition of sculptures and videos called "Figure: People". It presented 10 artists (Goran Despotovski, Marko Crnobrnja, Maja Rakočević Cvijanov, Zdravko Joksimović, Aleksandar Stanojević, Milorad Mića Stajčić, Nataša Teofilović, Dušan Todorović, Dunja Trutin, Dragan Vojvodić), among whom is the winner of the "Sava Šumanović" Award.
"Sava Šumanović" award to Zdravko Joksimović
After the opening of the Art Expo, the member of the City Council for Culture, Dalibor Rožić, and the general director of the Novi Sad fair, Nikola Lovrić, presented the "Sava Šumanović" award, an award given for achievements in the fine arts, to Zdravko Joksimović, a sculptor from Belgrade.
The jury that decided on the "Sava Šumanović" Award this year was composed of: Svetlana Mladenov, an art historian from Novi Sad, Vesna Latinović, a gallerist from Novi Sad, and Sava Stepanov, an art critic from Novi Sad (president of the jury).
The decision to award the award was made at a meeting held on March 12 in the premises of the "Bel Art" Gallery in Novi Sad. In the explanation, among other things, it is written: "The immediate reason for awarding the sculptor Zdravko Joksimović the "Sava Šumanović" Award for Fine Art was his two recent solo exhibitions in the X Vitamin Gallery and the Zepter Museum in Belgrade."
On the occasion of the 530th anniversary of the printing of Oktoich Prvoglasnik, visitors could see the Exhibition "Montenegro Cyrillic Printing House of the 15th and 16th Centuries - Crnojević Printing House - Printing House of Bozidar Vuković Podgoricanin".
The curiosity of the Art Exhibition was the collection - several exhibits - of decorative elements of the female Montenegrin national costume. The organizer of the exhibition was the Association of Montenegrins of Novi Sad.
All-Slavic days of culture were also held.
Events dedicated to literature, art and education in 2024
March events - the 28th international art exhibition "Art Expo", the 19th international education fair "Putokazi", Days of Laza Kostić and the first gaming fair "NS Gaming Week", filled the days with contents dedicated to art, culture, education, literature and gaming.
