The delegation of the Žilina Self-Governing Region from the Slovak city of Žilina was hosted today at the Novi Sad Fair by the General Manager of the Novi Sad Fair, Slobodan Cvetković, who welcomed the guests and presented them with the opportunities offered by the International Tourism Fair.
On this occasion, he particularly emphasized the importance of tour operators for the development of the tourism industry and the improvement of cooperation between the regions.
Director Cvetković also offered the delegation the opportunity to present themselves at the International Agricultural Fair, which will be held from May 16 to 21 next year, emphasizing that there is an adequate exhibition space for their needs.
Representatives of the Slovak Agency for Tourism of the Žilina Region, covering several municipalities, expressed a clear desire to present themselves as well as possible at the fair events in Novi Sad and increase their visibility on the regional market. In the first three quarters of this year, this region was visited by about 1.2 million tourists, which confirms its growing tourist potential.
We believe that in the future, cooperation will develop at even higher levels, and that the Novi Sad Fair will be a solid basis for all future joint ventures and new beginnings.
