At Novi Sad Fair’s “Press Kotlić,” the Novi Sad Reporter team won first place, ahead of AS FM Radio and Eko List, in a cook-off of 13 journalist teams.
The best chefs among the journalists who participated in the Press kettle competition of the Novi Sad fair, in the preparation of fish specialties in the kettle, are members of the Novi Sad reporter's team.AS FM radio came second, while the Eko List team earned third place with their culinary skills. There is no doubt that the fight was great because 13 teams with 62 journalists started according to the tutu of the best journalist-chefs, so there was undoubtedly a big job before the committee consisting of Janko Pinćir, Petar Lapu Braša and Nikola Savić.All participants had the same starting position because the Novi Sad Fair provided fish, water and wood, as well as a place to prepare the dish, and the journalist teams were left to give the dish they cooked what would distinguish it from others. Whether the kettles and spices used by the cooking journalists made the difference, or whether something else decided that someone would be a shade better, will remain a secret. All teams worked hard, chopped onions, added fish and secret spices, tried to win the trophy and their specialty was declared the best. If there was rivalry while the dishes were being prepared over the fire, there were no angry ones, unless someone really pissed off the soup.
