At the 28th International Exhibition of Goldsmithing and Watchmaking SJAJ, visitors can once again step into the luxurious world of luxury and exquisite craftsmanship - from sparkling gold and silver jewelry, through diamonds, to the rarest precious, semi-precious and contemporary synthetic stones. However, one exhibit at the stand of the Association of Goldsmiths of Serbia overshadowed all the others and became an absolute magnet for visitors: a cross made of pure silver, fineness 925, a masterpiece of masterful craftsmanship that with its fine lines, deep reliefs and almost iconographic precision aroused admiration and respect of all who approached it.This exceptional exhibit attracts attention not only with the material from which it is made, but above all with the skill, tradition and spirit of craftsmanship that it embodies. It is rare to see an object at even the most prestigious events that so harmoniously combines sacral symbolism and superb artistic craftsmanship.Visitors to the SJAJ exhibition have the opportunity to see it from 14 to 17 November at the Novi Sad Fair, after which this exceptional work will return to the Hopovo Monastery, where it belongs and continues to live as part of the spiritual and cultural heritage.
