The 56th Fair of Hunting and Fishing and Fair of Ecology opened: 100+ exhibitors, rich program, trophies and workshops with a call to protect nature. - The International Hunting and Fishing Fair and the Ecology Fair, which are visited every year by passionate fans of hunting, fishing and environmental protection, are among the most important fairs of this type in Southeast Europe - said the President of the Provincial Government, Maja Gojković. - Those who want to step into the world of nature, especially the youngest, will enjoy this year as well, because there are more than 100 exhibitors, a rich program, exhibitions, lectures... This fair is not only a meeting place for lovers of hunting, fishing and nature, but a place where tradition, knowledge and modern achievements in the field of hunting, fishing and nature conservation come together. At a time when environmental responsibility is more important than ever, we must all work together to find the right balance between enjoying nature and preserving it. Lorist is a unique opportunity for that, as well as for exchanging experience and getting to know new technologies, equipment and methods, a place where new partnerships and acquaintances are born.Maja Gojković pointed out that this year the provincial government allocated more than 100 million dinars for the purchase of equipment and live game, and 80 million dinars were allocated from the provincial budget for the promotion, equipping, reconstruction and adaptation of hunting lodges in Vojvodina. Those measures, said Gojković, will contribute to the improvement and accelerated development of hunting tourism, which is experiencing a boom. - This fair has had a reliable partner in the Provincial Government for 56 years, and the same is the case with other events held at the Novi Sad Fair. We want to improve cooperation, so that this fair attracts even more visitors, and they enjoy what they can see at the fair. The provincial government will be an active participant in this manifestation, and several events will be held, presentations of projects related to environmental protection - waste separation project, presentation of protected nature areas that attract guests and tourists and encourage the development of tourism. This fair is an inspiration to preserve natural resources, to preserve nature, to improve the sustainable development of the region - said Maja Gojković, opening the 56th International Hunting and Fishing Fair and Ecology Fair.The Minister of Environmental Protection, Sara Pavkov, pointed out that this event is an opportunity for us all to gather around the same goal - environmental protection, but also to emphasize how important the role of all: institutions, organizations, experts and citizens, is in the joint effort to preserve Serbia's natural resources. - Hunting and trapping are part of our heritage, and therefore part of our identity, and as an important part of what is done in the field of environmental protection, they require special attention, responsibility, knowledge and awareness of the sustainable use of natural resources - said Sara Pavkov. - Thanks to cooperation with hunters, we can better plan biodiversity conservation measures. In addition, as a ministry, we are open to cooperation with hunting and fishing associations, in order to influence the raising of awareness and prevention of activities harmful to the environment through numerous actions.
