The 2026 Sports and Youth Fair will last three days instead of one as has been the case so far.The reason for this is the title of the European City of Sport, which the City of Novi Sad officially received last year by the decision of the European Federation of Capitals and Cities of Sport (ACES Europe).The Sports Fair at the Novi Sad Fair has a decades-long tradition, and since 2017 it has been held under the auspices of the City of Novi Sad, which supports sports throughout the year, not only school and top, but also the one intended for people of the third age, people with disabilities, recreationists... It is implemented in cooperation with the City Administration for Sports and Youth and the City Sports Association. Since 2022, the event has also been sponsored by the Provincial Secretariat for Sports and Youth.For the first time in 2023, the Youth Fair was held simultaneously in cooperation with the Novi Sad Youth Forum.
