A Summit That Drives Businesses and Careers

On Saturday, 25 April, the Novi Sad Fair will become the central meeting place for knowledge, leadership and entrepreneurial inspiration during the "OsnaŽene - Western Balkans's & EU Women in Business Summit", which will bring together more than 500 successful women entrepreneurs from the Western Balkans and the European Union, it was announced at today's conference, which was attended by the Director General of the Novi Sad Fair, Slobodan Cvetković, MSc, Provincial Secretary for Economy and Tourism. Dr. Nenad Ivanišević and Dr. Indira Popadić, author and founder of the platform "OsnaŽena".

The General Manager of the Novi Sad Fair, Slobodan Cvetković, invited all entrepreneurs to exchange experiences and took the opportunity to announce the International Agricultural Fair, which will be held from 16 to 21 May. "Women entrepreneurs will have another opportunity to present themselves at one of the stands at the Agricultural Fair, under the auspices of the line secretariat," said Cvetković.
Support in the holding of the Summit was provided by the Provincial Secretariat for Economy and Tourism.

"We had a very clear path ahead of us, where - in Novi Sad, in what place - at the Novi Sad Fair, a place that is the Best of Vojvodina, with which the Provincial Government and the Provincial Secretariat for Economy and Tourism have the best cooperation. Who to support - women, why - because in the past five years we have given over 200 million dinars for direct support to women who run companies," said Ivanisevic.
The organizer of the Summit is Core International, which through this event continues to develop a platform for empowering women in business and encouraging regional and international cooperation. The "OsnaŽena" platform was an entrepreneurial idea of Dr. Indira Radić, who wanted to connect all women who are engaged in business in one place.

"We also did a survey at the first Start-up Academy, 90 percent of women did not have a web shop, and 85 percent did not have their own website, so we created a digital platform that was the first in the region and Europe and currently there are 1,600 micro sites. We've created a webshop to enable every woman, no matter where they live, to market their products."
During the one-day program, which will be held at the "Master" Congress Center, participants will have the opportunity to attend expert lectures, panel discussions and interactive sessions dedicated to business development, strategic decision-making, leadership and professional advancement.
Among the speakers who will share their knowledge and experience are prominent experts and leaders from various fields. Representatives of institutions, such as the European Union, the Ministry of European Integration, the Provincial Government, as well as representatives of the City of Novi Sad, have also announced their presence, which further increases the importance and institutional support of the event.
The "OsnaŽena" Summit is the holder of prestigious awards, including the European Enterprise Promotion Award 2024 of the European Commission and the Western Balkans Butterfly Innovation Award 2025, awarded by the Regional Cooperation Council, which further confirmed its influence and importance in the development of women's entrepreneurship.
