Standards are getting higher: Commissions confirm progress in the food industry

In anticipation of the International Agricultural Fair, which will be held from 16 to 21 May, the expert committees of the Novi Sad Fair are working hard to assess the quality of products and services. Composed of renowned domestic and international experts, they evaluate the samples, confirming the high standards and importance of this prestigious event.

The Commission for Flour, Grain and Confectionery Products analyzed about a hundred samples received from Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia. The overall quality of the product was assessed as very good, with emphasized competition and visible progress of manufacturers in the application of modern technologies and standards.
The assessment process is carried out according to strictly defined criteria, which include technological quality, sensory characteristics and compliance with applicable standards. The goal is not only to evaluate and reward the best, but also to encourage continuous improvement of production and strengthen consumer confidence.

The judging, which began in February, will be completed in the first days of the Agricultural Fair, when the most successful participants will be presented with awards at the "Master" Congress Center. These awards traditionally represent a strong incentive for manufacturers and confirmation of quality in the market.
Next week, the Commission for the Evaluation of the Quality of Dairy Products and the Commission for the Evaluation of the Quality of Meat and Meat Products will work.
