The Minister of Science, Technological Development and Innovation of the Republic of Serbia, Academician Bela Balint visited the International Agricultural Fair, among others, the stands of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija and the Institute of Field and Vegetable Crops "NS Seme", where he talked with representatives of this institution of national importance for the Republic of Serbia. – I visited the International Agricultural Fair, all praise to the general director and all the people who participated in the organization of the fair – said Balint. Reminding that the Institute of Field and Vegetable Crops is part of the network of institutional financing of the Ministry of Science, Technological Development and Innovation, the President of the Board of Directors of the Institute, Marijana Dukić Mijatovic, emphasized the great support that the Institute enjoys from Academician Balint. – In the coming period, we expect a large number of applications that we are preparing within the Institute for a number of projects, primarily with the Science Fund, whose call was published last week. The call of the Innovation Fund will soon be announced, and that is what the Government of the Republic of Serbia has been working on in the previous period – to form such funds and a network of science and technology parks. Only on such an institutionally strong basis can we further improve our scientific work – concluded Marijana Dukić Mijatović.
