The Ministry of Environmental Protection presented itself at the International Agricultural Fair through a conference dedicated to the circular economy.
According to Simona Simić from the Ministry of Environmental Protection, the Circular Economy Development Program in the Republic of Serbia for the period 2026-2030 aims to use resources more efficiently, reduce waste, and provide support to Serbia's green transition. Simić emphasizes that this program is also important because it connects institutions, local self-governments and the economy.The Circular Economy Development Programme in the Republic of Serbia for the period 2026-2030 is a strategic document that involves more efficient use of resources, reduction of waste and strengthening the competitiveness of the economy, relying on knowledge, innovation and digitalization, as well as harmonization with the acquis communautaire. It lays a clear foundation for the long-term transformation of the economy and society, strengthening competitiveness and environmental protection, while improving the quality of life of citizens.
