Representatives of the Komas Province from the Republic of Namibia visited the Novi Sad Fair today, where they got acquainted with the business, fair infrastructure and development potentials of the oldest fair house in Serbia.
During the meeting, the possibilities of establishing new forms of cooperation were also discussed. The meeting was organized with the support of representatives of the Provincial Government, who have previously established cooperation with the Republic of Namibia.The delegation was led by the Governor of the Province of Komas Sem Nujoma and the President of the Regional Council Stefanus M. Ndengu, and the guests were welcomed by the Executive Director for Fair Activities of the Novi Sad Fair, Boris Nadlukač. He presented the fair infrastructure, business and development plans of the Novi Sad Fair, with special emphasis on the importance of fair events as a platform for connecting the economy, institutions and the professional public, as well as for opening new business and partnership opportunities.The meeting was also attended by the Provincial Secretary for Economy and Tourism, Dr. Nenad Ivanisevic and his associates.The delegation of the Komas Province included representatives of institutions responsible for the economy, education, youth, sports, culture, health, social welfare, finance and administration, as well as representatives of the diplomatic sector. The broad composition of the delegation made it possible to look at the potentials for cooperation from several angles and in different areas of common interest.Special attention was paid to the possibilities of cooperation through fair events, primarily through the participation of representatives of Namibia at the upcoming International Tourism Fair and the International Agricultural Fair, which will be held in May next year.Guests from the province of Komas expressed great interest in participating in these events, recognizing them as an important platform for presenting the potential of Namibia, connecting with economic and institutional partners and opening up new opportunities for cooperation.
The connection between the Novi Sad Fair and the African continent will be further emphasized at this year's Hunting and Fishing Fair and the Ecology Fair, which will be held from 30 September to 4 October. As part of the fair programme, visitors will have the opportunity to see the exhibition "Africa", dedicated to the natural wealth and cultural heritage of the African continent.The visit of the delegation of the Komas Province is another step towards intensifying the international cooperation of the Novi Sad Fair and connecting it with new partners and markets.
