Quality to Be Measured: Honey in the Spotlight of the Expert Committee

In anticipation of the 93rd International Agricultural Fair, the most important agribusiness event in the region, which will be held from May 16 to 21, the traditional evaluation of product quality is underway, which has been an important segment of fair activities for decades.

Expert committees are working intensively to evaluate a large number of samples received from the country and abroad. So far, confectionery products, soups, spices and food additives, wines, strong alcoholic beverages, fruit wines, seed material, fruit and vegetable products, fruit juices, as well as products of the chemical industry have been evaluated.

Particular attention is drawn to the evaluation of beekeeping products and equipment for beekeeping. The commission, composed of experts, points out that the quality of honey is at an extremely high level, which confirms the continuous progress in this field. More than 100 honey samples were received from Montenegro, North Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia.
Quality rating is an important indicator for anyone who wants to recognize and choose top quality products. The most successful exhibitors will be presented with awards during the ceremony at the Novi Sad Fair.
