In the physical space, in the “MASTER” Hall, the Fair is devised in accordance with exhibition segments: travel agencies, accommodation facilities, tourist regions and organisations, institutions, chambers, associations, etc. In relation to the purpose of the presentation, topic and focus according to the type of visitors, the size of the exhibition space should enable your target group to experience benefits of products and services that you offer. The minimum exhibition area is 12 m2. There is no upper limit.

Extending regional cooperation as one of the prerequisites for participation in the single market of the European Union, as well as in other markets, is one of the objectives of the Fair of Tourism and business connection of participants.
B2B meetings on the first and the second day of the Fair, on the 28th and 29th of November, are direct possibilities to find new partners, discuss with existing and future business customers, and make agreements for future cooperation immediately. With this aim, a platform will be prepared for the presentation of exhibitors and business audiences, for identification of potentially interested parties, and for setting up dates for meetings at the exhibitors' stands and in the area intended for business meetings.
THE HOSTED BUYER PROGRAMME, which is realized together by the Novi Sad Tourism Organisation and the Novi Sad Fair, will also be prepared this year, and it will be the opportunity for discussions exclusively with exhibitors and selected business visitors from abroad that we are going to invite to the Novi Sad Fair.
One of the focuses of the Fair of Tourism in Novi Sad is to provide answers to the requirements and problems of the labor market in tourism. The Tourism Career Day on Saturday, 30th November, will be focused on the supply and demand of the workforce in the hospitality and hotel industry and/or in tourism generally.

AT THE TOURISM FAIR in 2024
The 55th International Tourism Fair was held at the Novi Sad Fair from November 28 to 30, 2024.
The partner country was Hungary, and the Provincial Government, the Provincial Secretariat for Economy and Tourism, the City of Novi Sad, and the Tourism Organization of the City of Novi Sad provided great support for this event.
The fair brought together numerous exhibitors and visitors who were looking for the most favorable arrangements - "last minute" for the upcoming winter season, New Year's, and Christmas holidays, as well as "first minute" for the summer of 2025... As the exhibitors say, there was great interest in the manifestations, of which there are about 1,500 in Vojvodina alone during the year. A large number of expert meetings were also held.
55TH INTERNATIONAL TOURISM FAIR IN NUMBERS
• More than 240 exhibitors took part
• Participants came from 12 countries - Serbia, Hungary, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Croatia, Slovenia, Albania, Bulgaria, Tunisia, North Macedonia, Greece, and Russia.
• Exhibitors gave discounts of up to 55%
• 79 participants from 10 countries (Serbia, Hungary, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Slovenia, North Macedonia, the United States of America, Belgium, and Russia) were registered at the B2B meetings, and 150 meetings were held.
• Vojvodina Wine House brought together 16 wineries and wine cellars
• 42 expert meetings, promotions, and presentations were held
• Several hundred participants were recorded at professional meetings
• The Tourist Prism was awarded to the 12 best destinations in all categories
• Held a workshop with 27 hoteliers from Turkey
• The 11th MEKST conference gathered participants from more than 15 countries
• The quality assessment committee of the Novi Sad fair evaluated 353 facilities and services, which were reported by 133 participants.
• The Gastro Cup and the 34th Association of Hospitality and Tourism Workers of Serbia in 2024 brought together dozens of competitors
• The Novi Sad fair in Poklon-igra delighted 41 visitors
THE MOST IMPORTANT UNITS OF THE TOURISM FAIR
The partner country of the Tourism Fair was Hungary. On that occasion, the Ambassador of Hungary to Serbia, Zoltan Jožef Magyar, was presented with the Cup of the Novi Sad Fair. The holder of the partnership was the Hungarian Export Promotion Agency HEPA (Hungarian Export Promotion Agency), which gathered 10 participants at the national stand. Tourist organizations and agencies, cities (Budapest, Harkany, Pécs, Szeged, Morahalom), institutions, members of the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, and tourism and consulting firms presented themselves.
The partner country has also prepared vouchers for visitors with a 50% discount on the services of the Saint Erzebet spa, as well as gifts in the Gift Game of the Novi Sad Fair. The tourism fair was also an opportunity for representatives of Hungarian workers in tourism to become familiar with the tourist and hospitality potential of Novi Sad, Vojvodina, and Serbia.
Presentation of exhibitors - During three days, the participants of the Tourism Fair presented themselves in the "Master" Hall, the "Master" Congress Center, the Auditorium, and in the open area of the Fairgrounds. Tourist organizations, travel agencies, ski centers, hotels, spas, spas, wellness and spa facilities, tour operators, institutions, special hospitals for orthopedics and rehabilitation, ethnic settlements, sports and recreation centers, resorts, tourist attractions, manifestations, and events took part. Media, as well as those dedicated to IT in tourism, medical tourism, career, education, insurance, wine cellars, and wineries...
They granted visitors a discount of up to 55%, gave away vouchers, arranged special benefits, organized accompanying programs, and tastings... Satisfied exhibitors emphasize that the Fair met their expectations. Many emphasize that they managed to make contacts important for the business of the companies they come from, but also that they are satisfied with the number of expert meetings and presentations, as well as the topics discussed. They also note that this year, compared to previous years, there were more younger visitors. The agencies say that classic tourist tours and tours are a thing of the past and that today the guest has to be animated, they are looking for a travel experience through a specific activity.
Pavilion of the Provincial Secretariat for Economy and Tourism - The Provincial Secretariat gathered co-exhibitors, beneficiaries, and partners and organized numerous events, as well as the performance of 16 wineries and wine cellars in the Wine House of Vojvodina. They presented the current project "The best of Vojvodina" which refers to tourism and service activities. Exhibitors were also previous holders of that prestigious certificate. Among other things, the Secretariat handed out the Geotourist certificate to the participants of the "Eco tour" program and hosted institutions from Vojvodina that train staff in the field of tourism and catering to develop and improve tourism - faculties and high schools accredited by the competent authorities, which, as part of the teaching programs, train staff from in the field of tourism, that is catering, hotel and tourism technicians.
Professional and business meetings - During three days, 42 professional meetings, promotions, and presentations were held, both in the "Master" Congress Center, "Master" Hall, and at the exhibitors' stands.
B2B meetings of exhibitors and tour operators organized in Hall "Master" lasted two days. The Novi Sad Fair and the Tourism Organization of the City of Novi Sad have been jointly organizing the business part of the Tourism Fair for many years, intending to agree and establish cooperation between the tourism industry and guests. The emphasis was on travel agencies that deal with third markets, whose offer is the Balkans, that is, Balkan tours. The goal was to visit Novi Sad and its surroundings on one of those tours. The agencies that were present sell arrangements in markets from China, Malaysia, Indonesia, America, to Europe, primarily France, Spain, and Italy. At those meetings, tourist agencies showed the most interest in establishing contacts with Novi Sad hoteliers.
Our Everyday Tourism - The Novi Sad Fair and Tourist Prism organized the "Our Everyday Tourism" conference, with extremely current topics, as part of the Tourism Fair. The topic of the first panel was "Do we have the necessary personnel in tourism and catering and how to get them?", and the second "Tourist organizations/communities and their role in the creation and promotion of the tourist product". The participants were tourism employees and professors of faculties and academies in Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, and Hungary. Traditionally, at the International Tourism Fair, Tourist Prism awarded Prisms in the category "For New Quality in Tourism". These awards are unique in that nominations and awardees are decided by a jury made up exclusively of tourism journalists from the region. This year, more than 20 tourist destinations from all countries of the region were nominated. The Tourist Prism was awarded to the 12 best destinations in all categories.
Turkish hoteliers at the Tourism Fair - "Big Blue" tourist agency organized a workshop with 27 hoteliers from Turkey, from the Aegean and Antalya regions, who presented their way of doing business to our subagents. At the meeting, Turkish hoteliers promoted their country and hotels, but attention was also paid to spreading the idea of travel, good hotels, the "all-inclusive" concept, and cooperation between countries.
CTTH 2024 - The 20th conference dedicated to contemporary trends in tourism and hospitality, and the impact of tourism on the environment, and fits into the holistic approach that develops through study programs, projects, and such conferences. The transition in green tourism as the central theme of this year's conference brought together around a hundred domestic and foreign lecturers.
The Tourism Organization of the City of Novi Sad organized the workshop "Novi Sad wines and Zlatibor delicacies", and the Novi Sad Center for Tourism Research and Studies organized a meeting dedicated to managing reviews and content for maximum promotion of destinations. An interactive panel, "Path to success in tourism and hospitality", "Possibilities of tourism valorization of the intangible cultural heritage of Serbia" was held, and the travel series "Without arrangements" by Blaž Popović was presented at the RTV booth. On the final day of the International Tourism Fair, on Saturday, the 11th international conference of tourism and hotel management students MEKST, was held.
34th Association of Hospitality and Tourism Workers of Serbia 2024 - Association of Independent Trade Unions of Serbia - The Independent Trade Union of Hospitality and Tourism of Serbia was organized by the Association of Hospitality and Tourism Workers of Serbia. A total of 55 competitors took part, competing in numerous categories. At the end of the competition, cups, medals, diplomas, and certificates of appreciation were presented to the best. The first place is shared by the Prolom Banja Special Hospital and the Novi Sad "Svetozar Miletić" Secondary School, the second place by the "Stana Milanović" ESH from Šabac and the "Fijaker" Ethno restaurant from Sombor. The third place went to the Tourism Organization of the City of Novi Pazar.
Gastro Cup 2024 is an international culinary competition that takes place during the Tourism Fair in Novi Sad. The organizers of the eighth competition in a row are the Novi Sad Fair, Green Valley Association, and Horeca Association Kragujevac. The competition aims to promote and popularize culinary arts in Serbia and the region. Competitors competed in several categories, and at the same time had the opportunity to exchange experiences with colleagues, promote their catering facilities, and make new acquaintances to raise the level of economic activity in Novi Sad, the Republic of Serbia, and the countries of the region, Europe, and the world. Nikola Sarić was declared the best junior in 2024, and Marija Dzingarska was named the best senior. The best culinary school for 2024 is the Leskovac Business School.
Quality appraisal - The prelude to the 55th International Tourism Fair was the presentation of awards to participants in the evaluation of the quality of facilities and services, at the Novi Sad Fair. The holder of the highest award is Prezident Hotels, based in Serbia. The big championship cup was awarded to a successful and recognizable brand in the hotel industry. 29 evaluation participants from Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia, Montenegro, and Croatia were awarded the trophies of the Novi Sad Fair. Numerous charters, plaques, and diplomas with special recognition were also presented. The Commission of the Novi Sad Fair for evaluating the quality of facilities and services at the 55th International Tourism Fair has been working since September. On the field, more than 350 facilities and services were evaluated, which were reported by 133 participants, and 304 large gold medals were awarded in addition to 49 gold medals.
Raffle game for visitors - Novi Sad Fair, in cooperation with the exhibitors, organized a Raffle game for visitors, and 41 gifts were prepared. The gifts were a weekend for two or four on the basis of accommodation or half board, a catamaran ride, a gift card/voucher in the amount of 150,000 forints for a stay in one of the Hunguest hotels, sweet packages, mugs, t-shirts...

There are also households gathered around TO Knjaževac - STD "Vila Babin zub", STD Pešić "Deda Mišina koliba", STD "Sunce", STD "Kod Gere", Apartments "Velebit", STD "Brvnare Todorović", Hostel "Ethno-hous Anđela", Apartments "Vila Vrh", STD "Vila Bor", Apartments "Aphrodite hills", STD "Gabar", and House "Milica". Among those who prepared gifts are: Vacation house "Marina Jelenković", STD "Seoska kuća 2", STD "Petar i Pavle", Apartments "Vila Kula", STD "Casa Sara", Bed and breakfast "Bajka", Apartment " Villa Bosa 1", Apartments "Blue lagoon", Rooms "Kuća Talija", STD "Vila Nada", Villa "Biljana", Apartments "Čardak", as well as TO of the municipality of Knjaževac, TO of Čačka, TO of the region of Western Serbia, Special Hospital for the rehabilitation of Atomska banja, Gornja Trepča, TO Sjenica and the Arilje Tourist and Sports Center. Among the donors are companies from Hungary: HEPA - Hungarian Export Promotion Agency, Hotel Piano - Segedin, Drava hotel Harkanj, Hagymatikum spa Makó, and Carpathian Basin Tourism Association.
There is no entrance fee to the Tourism Fair.
The Novi Sad Fair, just like in 2023, made a decision to allow all visitors and participants of the Tourism Fair to enter without paying for tickets, with registration of the visit. The decision was supported by the Provincial Government, and it was made with the intention of supporting the development of tourism in our region.
