Bringing over 15 tour-operators from a dozen of countries to Novi Sad’s Fair within “Hosted Buyer Programme” and holding meeting with the exhibitors is, according to the participants, the most significant segment of this year’s Fair of Tourism in Novi Sad. The program was conducted with the support of Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications and in cooperation with a German agency “Evintra”.
The meeting resulted in reaching business cooperation, due to which the touristic offer of our country will find its way to significantly higher number of tourists from Russia, Italy, Austria, Germany, Greece, China, Denmark, Norway, Maldives and Hungary. The cooperation with tour-operators from ex-Yugoslavian countries was also accomplished.
At the stand of ethno-settlement “Vrdnicka kula” over 10 meetings with tour-operators from Turkey, Russian and North European countries were held. It used its presentation at the Fair of Tourism in order to promote the longest zip-line in Balkans, which will start working in May.
Touristic Organization of Vojvodina presented this year at Fair the offer of touristic organizations of Vojvodina’s towns and municipalities. There were 20 meetings held with tour-operators interested in the offer of Vojvodina’s touristic destinations. Digital Guide through Vojvodina was presented, which was devised in cooperation with Faculty of Natural Sciences in Novi Sad.
The foreign exhibitors also left the Fair of Tourism satisfied. According to Slovenian touristic representatives, B2B meetings held were extremely informative and precious, so they hope to meet representatives of touristic organizations again next year in the same manner. They made new business contacts at the Fair and they pointed out that it was an excellent idea to organize Family Day, since the visit was extraordinary.
The pleasure was also expressed at the stand of Morahalom Spa, and they emphasized that the result of their exhibition at the Fair will be new guests from the whole region. There was also a huge demand for Serbian spas offer, as well as that of Kopaonik mountain, so the exhibitors expect to see the effects of participation at the Fair very soon.
B2B meetings, which were this year organized for the second time, gathered touristic representatives from 14 countries. There were 130 meetings held, and the results will be measured by the number of agreements signed, which is what is expected after the Fair of Tourism. The participants of B2B meetings exchanged contacts and agreed on new business meetings.
Besides the meetings with touristic representatives from our country and abroad and the promotion of Novi Sad and Subotica, touristic organizations of those two towns signed Protocol on Cooperation and announced printing of mutual touristic guidebook at International Fair of Tourism.
