For the first time this year at the Agricultural Fair, The Exhibition of Genetic Potentials will be organized within the National Livestock Exhibition.
This means the promotion of autochthonous breeds of cattle, horses, sheep, goats and pigs. Breeders, but also all visitors will have the opportunity to see the horses of Nonius species, pigs of the species Moravka, Resavka and Mangulica.
Podolian cattle is often seen at the Agricultural Fair, and for the first time at the National Livestock Exhibition, Serbian white goat will be shown. The most autochthonous breeds are among the sheep, as many as five (orig. Svrljig, cigaja, lipska, sjenicka and krivovirska).
Although not all species will be exhibited in one place, there will be prominent places where animals are presented at the Genetic Potential Exhibition.
Competitions and evaluation for the weekend
For years, at the Agricultural Fair, visitors have been accustomed to following horse racing. It will also be like that at the 86th International Agricultural Fair. On Saturday and Sunday, on 11th and 12th May, visitors will have the chance to enjoy the skills of horse-cart drivers and the competition in horse hurdling. On the first day of the Fair, public evaluation of cattle will also be organized at Manege.
