The International Agricultural Fair is the largest event in the field of agriculture in Southeast Europe and the most important manufacturers from this sector of the economy exhibit on it, whose offer arouses a great interest of agriculturers, but also of many others who rely on the agrarian sector.
This is, without a doubt, the reason why this Fair is so interesting for both business people and visitors, which was confirmed yesterday by a big crowd in both halls and the open fair space. The tradition of the Agricultural Fair in Novi Sad is almost nine decades long and visitors know very well that they have plenty to see, hear, try, learn at it. This year this is guaranteed by 1,518 exhibitors, who promote products and services from 61 countries.
The various fair offer is also enriched by exhibitors from abroad, and that this is true for this year too is certainly confirmed by the Partner Country – Italy and the Friend Country – Tunisia that follow the Agricultural Fair. This is additionally proved by the fact that, after more than two decades, as many as 17 countries have decided to exhibit in a collective promotion, and on those joint exhibitions the following economies presented themselves: Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, the Czech Republic, Egypt, the Netherlands, Croatia, India, Indonesia, Italy, Israel, China, Hungary, Russia, Taiwan, Tunisia and Spain. Although exhibitors from Belarus, Egypt and Taiwan did not participate at last year's Agricultural Fair, they are now here and they represent their economies under one roof.
Seven companies from the chemical and food industry exhibit at the stand of Belarus in Hall 1, including Belarussian State Concern for Oil and Chemistry Belneftekhim. This concern markets mineral fertilizers, rails for tractors and agricultural machines, chemical fibers and yarns. A representative of Belneftekhim, Natalya Zakrevskaya is the first time at Novi Sad Fair in Serbia, and she is very satisfied with the stay in our country and this event, so she is convinced that the business promotion will be successful.
After many years of absence from the International Agricultural Fair, Montenegrin entrepreneurs participated collectively last year, when 24 companies presented themselves. The same approach has been selected this year too, and at the stand of Montenegro at Hall Master, you can get an insight into the offer of 17 exhibiting companies. There are also five institutions present.
