Everybody is satisfied with the Agricultural Fair

The evaluation of the exhibitors and the visitors is that this year's Fair was larger and better compared to the previous ones.

The impression is that the exhibitors were better prepared and had more remarkable presentations, that the Novi Sad Fair improved additional contents and that the Agricultural Fair was organized in such a way that everyone is satisfied. Regardless of the rain, the visit was at the level of the last year's one, and around 140,000 people passed through the gates of the Novi Sad Fair.

For the first time in its history, the Agricultural Fair had the Friend Country – Tunisia and the Partner Country – Italy. After more than 20 years, 17 collective exhibitions have been organized. For the first time, the Day of Fruit Growers was held and the Exhibition of Genetic Potential also had its premiere, where autochthonous breeds of cattle were promoted. The general sponsor was Generali Insurance Serbia, and the Golden Sponsor was Al Dahra.

According to the preliminary data of the Business Association of Importers and Exporters of Agricultural Machinery, the value of the contracts and created offers for the sale of agricultural machines will amount to about EUR 20 million, which represents one fifth of the annual turnover in the agricultural machinery market.

Foreign exhibitors are more than satisfied. An excellent example is Tunisia. The Tunisian Ambassador has announced that he expects the agreement on trade between the two countries to be reached soon, and that a forum will soon be organized in Tunisia where Serbian businessmen will present their products.

Regarding the cattle exhibition, the sale went well. Nevertheless, those who stood out where pig breeders who sold everything, as well as those who offered sheep, since more than 80 percent of the exhibited specimens was sold at the Fair.

The exhibitors presenting themselves at Hall 1a and Hall 6, i.e. the Food Expo, managed to place their products on the market of the countries in the region and expand distribution in our country.

The response to B2B meetings was record this year. About 180 companies from 17 countries responded, and more than 300 meetings were held.
