Deputy Prime Minister of Serbia Aleksandar Vulin paid a visit yesterday to the International Fairs LORIST, which are held until the 6th of October and consist of numerous exhibitors displaying at the Hunting and Fishing Fair and the Fair of Ecology.
Alongside the General Director of the Novi Sad Fair Nikola Lovrić and the Executive Manager in charge of integrated corporate communications MSc Jelena Marinković Radomirović, Vulin toured the exhibitor’s stands in the Master Hall and Hall 1, spoke to representatives of various companies displayed and assured himself of the quality of everything presented there. He had the opportunity to explore the hunting and fishing equipment of both domestic and foreign manufacturers. He conversed with the exhibitors about the problems in our country concerning forests, hunting grounds and waters.
While visiting the stand of the Hunting Association of Serbia, Vulin participated in celebrating the Association’s patron day – Saint Evstatie, the patron saint and the protector of hunters, forests and mountains. The honour of the ritual bread breaking was given to Deputy Prime Minister Vulin and the President of the Hunters Association Bratislav Ćirković, along with other esteemed guests and hunting lovers.
Congratulating the patron day, Vulin said that hunters are good and honest folk, the biggest friends to nature and its fiercest protectors. The prosperity of hunting is a great opportunity for Serbia.
Hunters love nature, and the comradery that comes with hunting, and they contribute to many people wanting to visit and meet Serbia. And, of course, who gets to know us once is bound by our friendship forever - said Vulin.
Touring the stands at the Fair of Ecology, Vulin was present at many of the workshops and educational content provided for children and was also acquainted with activities and achievements in the area of the waste-free circular economy.
