CheckIN Conference 2026: New Horizons for the Economy, Tourism and Digital Transformation

The CheckIN Conference 2026 is being held today at the Master Congress Center, a closed business gathering intended for company founders, decision-makers and leading professionals in the field of business, technology, investments and creative industries.

The conference was opened by a panel entitled "EXPO 2027 – New Horizons for the Economy and Tourism of Vojvodina", which discussed the strategic potentials of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina in anticipation of the international specialized exhibition EXPO 2027, which will be held in Belgrade.

The panel was also attended by the Provincial Secretary for Economy and Tourism, Nenad Ivanišević, Director of the Tourist Organisation of Vojvodina, Milivoj Kovačević, and the representative of the Tourist Organisation of Novi Sad, Dejan Radosavljević.
The participants of the panel particularly commented on the possibilities of developing accompanying events and content during the EXPO, as well as on the long-term positioning of Vojvodina as a region recognizable for its innovative economy, developed tourist offer and high level of hospitality. One of the panelists, the general director of the Novi Sad Fair, Slobodan Cvetković, said that he met with the director of the EXPO yesterday, and said that through the conversation they came to common conclusions in which there are benefits for both sides.

The idea is to attract a large number of tourists with the quality content that we will organize in Novi Sad. It is important to point out that the potential exists and now we need to operationalize all this, and move from ideas to concrete projects. The most important thing for us to point out is that the 94th International Agricultural Fair will be held in May, at the time of the EXPO, Cvetkovic announced.

By the end of the day, a total of 12 panels will be held dedicated to key topics of modern business and economic development. Special focus will be placed on the possibilities of monetizing national and cultural heritage through the application of new technologies, artificial intelligence and digitalization processes, but also on the development of ecosystems that enable the construction of infrastructure for electric vehicles and support the transition to sustainable mobility.

The co-organizer of the event is the Novi Sad Fair, whose Congress Centre "Master" is one of the most important venues for business meetings and conferences in the region, and this year marks two decades of work.
Admission to the event is free for all participants who have previously registered. The conference lasts until 5 p.m. today.
