The first Women's Entrepreneurship Fair of AP Vojvodina and Republic of Srpska has been opened

The first Women's Entrepreneurship Fair of AP Vojvodina and the Republic of Srpska, dedicated to women in business, was officially opened today in the "Master" Hall of the Novi Sad Fair, with the aim of strengthening visibility, networking and support for women entrepreneurs.

The fair was opened by the President of the Provincial Government, Maja Gojković , who pointed out that today, more than ever, we need new models of economic growth, and women's entrepreneurship is one of the most active drivers of innovation and sustainable development.

"Perhaps because I am also a woman, I personally initiated such an event, bearing in mind, among other things, that the Provincial Government is focused on supporting our female entrepreneurs, both through competition lines and through constant efforts, to further educate, stimulate and support women entrepreneurs in projects related to the growth of your businesses and your businesses. President Gojkovic said, adding that as a responsible government , they have an obligation to continue creating incentives and financial support.

More than 200 women entrepreneurs from Vojvodina and the Republic of Srpska are participating in the fair. In addition to companies and associations, the event brought together representatives of chambers of commerce, institutions dealing with gender equality, associations of craftsmen, as well as organizations that provide support to the development of small and medium-sized enterprises.

The fair will include expert lectures, panel discussions, workshops aimed at improving skills, education and initiating new business collaborations , as well as fashion shows. The program is designed to provide women entrepreneurs with access to knowledge, contacts and resources that are crucial for the further development of their business.

The opening ceremony was attended by the Provincial Secretary for Economy and Tourism, Nenad Ivanišević, the Provincial Secretary for Regional Development, Interregional Cooperation and Local Self-Government, Aleksandar Sofić and the Director General of the Novi Sad Fair, Slobodan Cvetković, as well as representatives of the Fund for Refugee Displaced Persons and for Cooperation with Serbs in the Region, the Institute for Gender Equality, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Vojvodina.  and others.

It is expected that this event will become a regular event and an important gathering point for women entrepreneurs from all over the region. 

The working hours of the fair are today until 6 p.m. There will be no entrance fee.
