The sixth edition of EV Days was officially opened today at the Novi Sad Fair – an event in which Novi Sad has once again become a meeting place for the most important actors from the world of electric mobility, sustainable technologies and energy, with the presentation of innovations that announce the transport of the future.
This year's event brought together more than 80 companies and almost 50 vehicles. The program is attended by 30 speakers and panelists, including leading experts from the automotive industry, energy, technology and academia.The opening of the event was attended by the Provincial Secretary for Economy and Tourism, Prof. Dr. Nenad Ivanišević, Member of the City Council for Ecology, Energy Efficiency and Environmental Protection, Vanja Petković, Director General of the Novi Sad Fair, Slobodan Cvetković, Dean of the Faculty of Technical Sciences, University of Novi Sad, Prof. Dr. Boris Dumnić and Director of the Schneider Electric Development Center in Novi Sad, Dragoljub Damijanović.
Over the course of two days, visitors will have the opportunity to get acquainted with the latest achievements in the field of electromobility. Special attention will be paid to test drives, where they will be able to test more than 60 models of electric and hybrid vehicles.One of the attractions of this year's EV Days is a vehicle fully equipped for autonomous driving, which was exhibited for the first time in the region at the Novi Sad Fair. It can be seen at the stand of the Faculty of Technical Sciences and the company LiMobility, which will give visitors the opportunity to get acquainted with technologies that represent the next step in the development of mobility.As part of the program, the IEEE4Challenge will be held, a student competition that connects the academic community and the economy. Teams of students, with the support of professional engineers, will solve specific challenges in the automotive industry. In this way, students will have the opportunity to apply the knowledge acquired during their studies to real problems and modern technological challenges.The winner of the IEEE4Challenge is scheduled to be announced tomorrow.EV Days will be open to visitors on both days, and admission to the event is free.
