The International Book Fair at the Novi Sad Fair received the most beautiful book, which was awarded the "Zaharija Orfelin" award. These are "Stories about Famous Names and Nicknames", by Uroš Milivojević, published by the Belgrade Creative Center, and illustrated by Boris Kuzmanović.

The International Book Fair at the Novi Sad Fair received the most beautiful book, which was awarded the "Zaharija Orfelin" award. These are "Stories about Famous Names and Nicknames", by Uroš Milivojević, published by the Belgrade Creative Center, and illustrated by Boris Kuzmanović.

That was the decision of the jury consisting of Marija Ristić – president, Mirko Dimić and Nenad Petrin – members. They evaluated the artistic and graphic appearance of the book, the artistic and artistic impression, the artistic and graphic equipment of the book, the level of craftsmanship and printing appearance of the book.
This year, the award for the most beautiful book of the Book Fair "Zaharija Orfelin" gives additional weight to the 300th anniversary of the birth of this Serbian writer, publicist, historian, and he was also a copper engraver, enlightener, engraver, calligrapher, oenologist and Orthodox theologian.
The second place is shared by two books - "The Talker's Shell", by Nikoleta Novak, published by the Pčelica Publishing House, illustrated by Nemanja Ristić and "In the Counterlight", by Zoran Đorđević, who was also an illustrator, published by the Cultural Institution "Koraci".
The third prize was also awarded to two books. The first book by Howard Phillips Lovekraft is "Color Beyond Space", published by ŽIR Publishing, illustrated by Jelena Ristić. The second, no less important, is the book "The Mysterious Tenant" by Mary Bellock Launds, published by the Narator publishing house. The illustrators are Mijat Mijatović and Marko Dinić.
A special award was given to "The Herzegovinian Uprising of 1875", by Svejn Menesland. It is published by the Prometej Publishing House, the graphic equipment of the book is Slađana Novaković.

In Hall 1 of the Novi Sad Fair, where the Book Fair is held, the awards were presented by Marija Ristić, president of the jury and Olgica Đurović Miljuš from the Department for Commercial Affairs of the Novi Sad Fair.

The book fair runs until Monday, March 23. At the same time, the jubilee 30th International Art Exhibition "Art Expo" will be held, while the 20th International Education Fair "Putokazi" and the Gaming Fair of the 2nd NS Games & Tech Week will last until tomorrow.
Tomorrow, on Saturday, March 21, in front of the Novi Sad Fair, from 12 to 20 p.m., the Vojvodina Taste Exchange will be held.
Opening hours are from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., except on Mondays when they will be until 4 p.m. There is no entrance fee.
