The second meeting of the Organizing Committee of the Novi Sad Book Fair was held

In preparation for the upcoming International Book Fair, which will be held from 17 to 23 March at the Novi Sad Fair, the second meeting of the Organizing Committee was held today.

The meeting was dedicated to the finalization of program contents and coordination of participants, with the aim of providing this year's fair with a unique experience for lovers of books, culture and modern technologies.

This year's slogan of the Fair, "READ and READ!", emphasizes the importance of reading, education and a modern approach to culture in the digital age.

For the "Laza Kostić" Award, one of the most prestigious awards in the field of literary creativity awarded within the Book Fair, 62 applications were received. The jury for the award consists of Mladen Vesković, Duško Paunković and Isidora Bjelaković. The deadline to apply for this prestigious award is February 2.

The meeting was attended by representatives of publishers and bookstores, the Ministry of Culture, the City Library of Novi Sad, the Cultural Centre of the City of Novi Sad, the Student Cultural Centre, the City Administration for Culture, the Faculty of Philosophy, the Radio Television of Vojvodina, as well as programme editors and representatives of the Novi Sad Fair.

As part of the Book Fair, the 30th International Art Expo will be organized at the same time, while the 20th jubilee International Education Fair "Putokazi" and the 2. "Game & Tech Week (by AXE)" will be realized from 19 to 21 March, which will make the Novi Sad Fair a central meeting place for culture, education and modern technologies.
