Through support and education to regional women's business

The one-day Summit "Founding Women Without Borders," which is being held at the Novi Sad Fair, was officially opened by the President of the Provincial Government, Maja Goković, who emphasized that today more than ever, models of women's growth are needed, and entrepreneurship has shown that women know how to recognize needs and create solutions that change the community.

The one-day Summit "Founding Women Without Borders," which is being held at the Novi Sad Fair, was officially opened by the President of the Provincial Government, Maja Goković, who emphasized that today more than ever, models of women's growth are needed, and entrepreneurship has shown that women know how to recognize needs and create solutions that change the community.

Through support programs, trainings and public competitions, the Institute for Gender Equality has continuously worked on strengthening the capacities of women to start and develop their own businesses. Projects that encourage women's employment, the development of social entrepreneurship and the economic empowerment of women from vulnerable social groups have been supported, President Gojkovic pointed out.
Director General of the Novi Sad Fair, Slobodan Cvetković, expressed great satisfaction that the Fair hosted more than 500 very successful women in business; from our country, the Western Balkans and the European Union, and added that the Novi Sad Fair will be a center of innovation from 16 to 21 May and host exhibitors and visitors from more than 40 countries at the 93rd International Agricultural Fair.


In the ceremonial part of the program, the following addressed the members of the City Council for Sports and Youth, Tatjana Medved, Special Advisor to the Minister for European Integration, Danilo Golubović, Deputy Head of the EU Delegation to Serbia, Plamena Halacheva, and the founder of the "OsnaŽena" platform and business consultant, Indira Popadić.


The "Empowered" platform brings together over 1,600 women from 13 countries and 86 different industries, providing support to women in entrepreneurship, and its goal is to help women make a breakthrough, survive and grow in their businesses through education and mutual support.
In front of the Auditorium of the Novi Sad Fair, today until 6 p.m., the Vojvodina Taste Exchange will be held.
