Yesterday, Manjež was the main gathering place for the youngest visitors of the International Agricultural Fair, since the Equestrian Center "Novi Sad Fair" organized an equestrian workshop for children. The little ones cuddled, cleaned, fed, and even rode the horse, and then immortalized it with crayons and took the drawing as a souvenir from the gathering. – We do not take out pony horses, but big sports horses, so that at this workshop children can see them, help them, prepare them for training, clean them, feed them, and the bravest, who dare to ride them, receive a horseshoe as a souvenir for that feat – explains the coach of the Equestrian Centre "Novi Sad Fair" Dejana Buđaš. – Some children are not afraid of horses, so we have to be more careful, but we try to teach every child how to approach him properly, regardless of whether he is afraid or not. Newer generations are braver and more curious, and we teach them patience and calmness.Today is the most important day for equestrian sports. At 11 a.m., the exhibition competition tournament called "Novi Sad Fair Cup" begins, within which about 50 riders from various parts of Serbia will perform. – The first match is for beginners, or, as we like to say, young hopefuls, and these are children who are participating in an equestrian tournament for the first time. After the performance of the youngest, there will be the main match of the tournament "Novi Sad Fair Cup". On it, horses jump 110–115 centimeters in height, then 90–100, and finally there is an amateur tour for the slightly more experienced but with young horses, which jump 60–80 cm.
