What is life in the water

Chub, pufferfish, pike, sunfish, robin, carp, bream, bathrobe and perch are in the aquarium in the Novi Sad Fair Hall, as one of the attractions of the 57th International Hunting and Fishing Fair and the Ecology Fair. The tank of several tens of liters has thus become a temporary home for river fish that are most common in Vojvodina.

In addition to looking imposing and giving us an insight into the fish world, this aquarium is an ideal opportunity for nature lovers, both young and old, to get acquainted with the species that they can catch in a river or lake. In addition to being able to see them swimming, above the aquarium they can also read basic information about specimens that are in the water.
Thus, it can be found out that the chub, with a strong body and a wide head, as well as that it is popular among fishermen because of its fighting, while the pufferfish, otherwise one of the most common white fish, is extremely resistant and easily survives in waters with low oxygen levels. One of the most important freshwater fish in sport fishing and gastronomy is the well-known carp, which prefers to splash in the warm muddy bottom of slow-flowing waters. Sunfish is one of the most visually interesting specimens, since it is small and colorful, and as it usually happens – very aggressive and harmful!
