9th - 10th March 2023
Novi Sad fair for the year 2023, which marks its century of existence, to organize the 18th international education fair "Pathways", which will be held on March 9 and 10 in Hall "Master". Parallel to the Education Fair, from March 7 to 13, the International Book Fair and the 27th International Art Exhibition "Art Expo" will be held.
The education fair is primarily intended for students in the final grades of primary and secondary schools. It brings together institutions that represent more than 500 educational profiles, that is, it provides a comprehensive offer of secondary, higher, and higher education in our country, complemented by the offer of secondary schools and faculties abroad.

The Fair of Education PUTOKAZI in 2022
The 17th International Fair of Education PUTOKAZI has made it easier for elementary and secondary school students and their parents to find the answer to the question “Where to go further?”
This year's Fair of Education is the largest fair that has been so far organised at the Novi Sad Fair and it is opened by the Minister of Education, Science and Technological Development, Branko Ružić. In relation to the fair from 2020, in terms of the number of exhibitors, it is 10% bigger. The novelty is the presentation of all higher education state schools in Vojvodina.
Traditionally, all faculties of the University of Novi Sad, private universities in Serbia and abroad, as well as institutions and organisations that have offered more than 500 educational profiles have taken part. The students who pass through the gates of the Novi Sad Fair have the opportunity to see a comprehensive picture of secondary, college, and university education in our country that is complemented by the offer of faculties from abroad – Republic of Srpska, Slovenia, Slovakia, and Canada.
Among the participants, there are the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Serbia and the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and, among others, the Association of Female Scientists of Serbia SRNA, which has organised a series of interactive workshops and a Round Table for encouraging girls and young women to engage in science and entrepreneurship. The students have had the opportunity to see the latest generation of DDR5 computers, which is presented for the first time in the region at the Fair in Novi Sad.
At the stand of the Ministry of Education, dual education has been presented, and information on scholarships that are given to elementary and secondary school students and university students has been available to everyone.
Awarding Recognitions at the Fir of Education in 2022
Before the Fair of Education PUTOKAZI, the expert commission of the Novi Sad Fair evaluated the quality of educational institutions.
The Grand Champion Cup of the Novi Sad Fair and the title of the Absolute Champion of the 17th International Fair of Education PUTOKAZI is awarded to the University “Business Academy”, Novi Sad. The cups of the Novi Sad Fair are awarded to the Preschool “Playroom”, Novi Sad, the Preschool “Our Child”, Šabac, and the City Administration for Education Pančevo.
In the Congress Centre “Master”, honorary recognitions are awarded for the support of the 17th International Fair of Education PUTOKAZI. They are awarded to the City of Novi Sad, the City Administration for Education, the Public Media Institution “Radio and Television of Vojvodina”, the Provincial Secretariat for Higher Education and Scientific Research, and the Provincial Secretariat for Education, Regulations, Administration and National Minorities - National Communities.
In the Congress Centre of the Novi Sad Fair, details related to the state matriculation exam have been presented. At the convention, it has been discussed about students who started secondary school in the 2020/21. They are the first generation to take yet another national exam - the state matriculation exam at the end of their school education. The final exam will be organised for students who attended a three-year vocational education, and the matriculation exam will be for students with a four-year secondary education.
Within the Fair of Education, the Project TRAME “Tracce di memoria” has been presented, and co-financed from the Programme ERASMUS + of the European Union. It has presented its innovative methodology in education through the use of the interpretation of cultural heritage. Secondary school students from Italy, Hungary, Turkey and Serbia have participated in the Project, and some of the results of the implemented pilot programme have been presented at the Fair. Migrations as a contemporary issue are in the focus of the Project.
This year (2022) again, visits of secondary school students from Vojvodina to the Fair have been financed by the Provincial Secretariat for Education, Regulations, Administration and National Minorities - National Communities with RSD 2 million.
The computer from PUTOKAZI goes to Sremska Mitrovica
During the two days of the Fair of Education, the Novi Sad Fair welcomed numerous elementary school and secondary school students, and for schools from which they come, the Prize Game is organised.
The Provincial Secretariat for Education, Regulations, Administration and National Minorities - National Communities, the Company “Vega IT” and the Novi Sad Fair have provided a computer, and a requirement for participation is that schools fill out a registration form upon entering the “Master” Hall and to put it in the box at the stand of the Secretariat.
The school for elementary and secondary education “Radivoj Popović” in Sremska Mitrovica has been the most fortunate. The coupon with the name of the school is drawn by the Head of the Department for Education and Legal Affairs in the Field of Education, Danica Lučić.
In the Prize Game, 30 schools have been registered.
The City of Novi Sad recognises the importance and has been supporting the event of the Fair “Guidelines” from the very beginning. This year, it has helped all secondary schools from the territory of the City with almost RSD 1 million to be presented to future students in the best possible way.
On the first day of the Fair of Education, the Job Fair has also been held, where 50 employers have offered about 900 jobs.
FAIRS DEDICATED TO LITERATURE, ART AND EDUCATION IN 2022
The Book Fair, the Exhibition of Art “Art Expo” and the Fair of Education PUTOKAZI have been seen by 35,000 visitors. There have been 180 exhibitors from seven countries - Serbia, Republic of Srpska, Croatia, Slovenia, Slovakia, Canada and Iran. More than 150 programmes (50% more than in 2020) have been organised and several dozens of authors have been presented. Several anniversaries have been held, current topics have been discussed, several thematic exhibitions have been prepared, as well as exhibitions at the exhibitors' stands and more than 500 educational profiles have been promoted. And, for the first time, all state colleges and universities from Vojvodina have participated.
It has also been talked about the continuation of education abroad. Tens of thousands of titles have been sold. During eight days, thematic exhibitions and many artists have turned the Aula into a gallery. The Novi Sad Fair has awarded about 400 titles to visitors in the Prize Game. The Radio and Television of Vojvodina has been informing the audience about events at the Fair in half-hour chronicles during the eight days.
For all events, from 3rd to 13th March 2022, the Novi Sad Fair has been assisted by partners and friends.
