The Agricultural Fair in Novi Sad has been attracting individuals, business, business and political delegations for more than nine decades and creates a creative environment for new ventures. In 2025, it will be held from May 17 to 22. Once again, it will bring together all significant actors of agribusiness and representatives of economic branches that rely on agriculture, from Serbia and the world. At the Novi Sad fair, the latest technical and technological achievements in agriculture, the application of science in agriculture, exhibitions of organic food, as well as those with designations of geographical origin, the wealth of the domestic gene pool, the most modern agricultural machinery, products and services from the most remote corners of the world are simultaneously presented.
At the same time, the most current topics in the field of agriculture are discussed through expert meetings, round tables, educations and presentations, with a special focus on improving knowledge and examples of good practice. Business gatherings include meetings with economic, scientific and political delegations, as well as direct meetings of businessmen from all over the world. With its modern concept, the Novi Sad Agricultural Fair encourages interstate and economic cooperation, integrates the improvement of knowledge, production and the development of science. In addition, it promotes the importance of innovation and represents a synthesis of experience and achievements in Serbian agriculture, it is a strong support for the economy of Serbia, and its contribution and importance is measured by the success of the exhibitors that they achieve under the roof of the Novi Sad fair.
INTERNATIONAL AGRICULTURAL FAIR IN 2024
Over 1,200 exhibitors from Serbia and 40 other countries took part, which is 10 percent more than in 2023 - from Serbia and about 40 countries (in 2023, there were 26 countries). During six days, more than 130,000 visitors were recorded (more than in 2023).

THE MOST SIGNIFICANT PARTS OF THE FAIR

EU PAVILION – More than 40 events held in Hall 1 of the Novi Sad Fair, with the presentation of the latest technologies and practices in agriculture, with special reference to EU standards and policies. The focus was on sustainable agriculture as well as programs aimed at promoting agricultural excellence, innovation and international cooperation. Current topics were discussed at conferences and presentations such as sustainable agriculture, the benefits of EU standards and the possibility of financing through IPARD funds. A large number of visits by officials from the embassies of the European Union member states were recorded. With a large number of panels, experts and relevant fields, every day was an opportunity for cultural exchange during the Lunch Time program. The food they were preparing was prepared for the Fair’s visitors at the EU stand ambassadors of the member states of the European Union.

Exhibitions of products with added value – Exhibitions of organic, geographically marked products origin and “Serbian quality” and craft beer, organized with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management. (on which products with added value will be presented, which in addition to the requirements in terms of safety and quality, they also meet additional requirements and can be marked as such with the national symbol for organic products or carry one of the designations of geographical origin or designation “Serbian quality”.) Visitors were able to familiarize themselves with the offer of domestic organic products and inputs necessary for this type of agricultural production, such as reproductive material that is produced with methods of organic production and means for the protection and nutrition of plants that are allowed for use in organic production. |
The City of Novi Sad is the host city and a regular participant in the events held at the Novi Sad Fair and provides support to this fair house. And in 2024, during the performance at the International Agricultural Fair, at the stand in Hall "Master", a series of events were held where visitors could learn about what the city administration is doing to ensure the most favorable economic environment for the benefit of all residents, such as and for exhibitors from abroad to familiarize themselves with the offer of Novi Sad in all spheres of life. |
The Pavilion of the Provincial Secretariat for Economy and Tourism in Hall "Master" was the place where the activities of the Secretariat were presented, products labeled "Best from Vojvodina", as well as co-exhibitors, beneficiaries of subsidies granted by the Province. Street of old crafts, honey, wine, cakes, ginger juice, natural cosmetics, Vojvodina tambourine players and dancers, good food and brandy, displayed local brands among other manual works. |
For the first time, the Office for Kosovo and Metohija appeared as an exhibitor at the International Agricultural Fair. In Hall 1 of the Novi Sad Fair, numerous agricultural producers from Štrpce, Zubina Potok, Vitina, Novi Brdo, Gnjilan and Leposavić presented themselves, as well as wineries from the Orahovački Vinogorje... More than 50 contacts were made, and meetings were held with interested distributors. Cultural and artistic societies from Kosovo and Metohija presented themselves at the Office's stand, and actors from the theater in Gjilan also performed. They announce their arrival for next year as well, with even more exhibitors.
Professional and business meetings were held mainly in the Congress Center "Master" of the Novi Sad Fair, but also at exhibitors' stands. From May 18th to 23rd, more than 120 events were held, not counting those on pavilion of the European Union. A large number of professional and business gatherings - conferences, forums, promotion, presentation.. The following are celebrated: Day of Cereals, Day of Fruit Growers and Vinegrowers, Day of Suppliers - Day of cattle breeders, the Evening of Champions .... and were held by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management of the Republic of Serbia, the Italian Foreign Trade Agency, the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, The Central European Network for Economic Development, as well as the Chamber of Commerce of Vojvodina, the Security Agency of traffic, Scientific Institute for Agriculture and Vegetables, Serbian Grain Association, Business Association - The community of poultry farmers and others... and so it was once again confirmed that direct meetings are of great importance, so a great interest in educational, promotional, professional and scientific gatherings was also expressed in the field of agriculture. |
International business meetings B2B "AGROBIZNIS 2024" was marked by the participation of representatives of 82 companies from 4 countries (Hungary, Romania, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia) who used the Fair as a place for getting to know each other personally, building or maintaining business relationships and concluding new trade contracts in the field of agro business. The meetings were attended by companies from the food industry and manufacturing chemical products and agricultural equipment, innovative technologies in agriculture, but also applications of alternative sources of energy.
BIO GARDEN - URBAN FARM - In addition to the already favorite segments, near Hall 12, visitors of Novi Sad Fair had a chance to see an ideal way for mini-production of certain vegetable and flower crops, as well as of herbs and medicinal plants Bio-garden. The Novi Sad Fair, the Institute for Agriculture and Vegetable Farming – “NS Seme”, Agricultural School in Futog and the Primary and Secondary education School “Milan Petrović”, Association “Organski Sad – Novi Sad”, were included in the realization of the project, with the support of the Administration for the Economy of City of Novi Sad.
Evaluation of the quality of products and services, organized before and during the Fair, was realized into 30 commodity groups. Committees in which faculty professors and scientific workers evaluated the quality of food products, livestock and process and agricultural equipment, and Good design was also evaluated as an element of the success of products and services. The Evening of Champions was held at the Congress Center "Master" on Thursday, May 23rd. By unanimous decision of the members of the Fair's expert committee, the title of absolute leader of quality of the 91st International Agricultural Fair in Novi Sad, was taken by the company ITN DOO ZEMUN – for the best company in agribusiness with significant international achievements.

VISIT
According to the records of the Novi Sad Fair, the Agricultural Fair was visited by more than 130,000 visitors in organized arrivals. The visit was made by: members of cooperatives - farmers, cattle breeders, producers, association members of agricultural producers, pupils, students, employees of companies in the agricultural and related fields, from Serbia but also from the region, that is, the European Union.
