At the stand of Spain, in Hall 1 of the Novi Sad Fair, a panel discussion was held on innovations in biological preparations and their importance for soil health. It was attended by the project manager of Regenerative Agricultura, Marko Bojin, the director of Tradeagro and the representative of Rovensa for Serbia, Miloš Vukicevic, as well as the doctor of microbiology from Abakston, Alberto Tunyol Molina from Spain. Participants pointed out that microbiological preparations have become an important part of sustainable agriculture in recent years, especially when it comes to the restoration of degraded land and more rational use of fertilizers. During the discussion, it was emphasized that microorganisms can contribute to a better availability of nutrients in the soil and the establishment of natural balance, but that each plot requires a special approach and soil analysis before applying the preparation. The panelists assessed that changes in production practices are necessary for biological preparations to give the full effect. In parallel, new technologies are being developed, including the first vaccines for plants, which are currently in the experimental phase.
