Promotion of the "Danube Farm" concept, designed by doc. Dr. Zoran Brljak from Educons University, together with three other fellow experts, and under the auspices of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Vojvodina, was held yesterday for the first time at the panel discussion of the same name. It is a new model for quality, trust and sustainable production from the AP of Vojvodina, which has been tested for the past two years, as a result of which it has been proven that there is a great need for such a concept.– The concept of "Danube Farm" will guarantee the quality of products, as well as sustainability and traceability of production and has a threefold effect – explains Dr. Brljak. – On the one hand, consumers have lost confidence in domestic production, which this concept should give them back. They will know which products have quality, the origin of each raw material included in the final product will be traced. If we look at it from the point of view of manufacturers, this concept should enable them to better position themselves on the market, to be competitive, to have a higher price, to help them in contact with retail chains in product placement, and the like. And from the third angle, economic policymakers will mean raising small production. For now, the plan is for this concept to come to life at the end of the year, and manufacturers must meet certain criteria in order to be holders of the "Danube Farm" trademark.– It is not easy to acquire this mark because many criteria must be met, and to manufacturers who do not meet all the standards, our expert team will give support and guide them on how to get this mark – said Dr. Brljak.
