At the 93rd International Agricultural Fair, awards were presented yesterday in the following commodity groups: Products of the chemical industry, Seed material of plant origin, Meat and meat products, Edible vegetable oils and related products and Dairy products, cheeses and ice creams.
The traditional carriage race, one of the symbols of the International Agricultural Fair, was held yesterday, when 13 two-horse carriages in three categories paraded through Manježa. In the show part of the two-horse young horses, the first place was won by Zoran Volarev from Bašaid, while in the competition of mature horses, the first prize went to Ivan Rakić from Kikinda. The award for the most beautiful pair of horses was given to Natalija Josimović from Novi Bečej.
"Social networks as an indispensable part of modern business" was the topic of yesterday's free education organized by the Radio Television of Vojvodina. It is designed primarily for farmers and exhibitors to further strengthen their business.

It was attended by the project manager of Regenerative Agricultura, Marko Bojin, the director of Tradeagro and the representative of Rovensa for Serbia, Miloš Vukicevic, as well as the doctor of microbiology from Abakston, Alberto Tunyol Molina from Spain.
Director of the Novi Sad Fair Slobodan Cvetkovic met with the delegation of Kazakhstan, consisting of Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Agro-Science Education Center (NASEC) Maxim Sutula and Director of Atameken Agro Trade Shukhrat Adilov, with the aim of encouraging cooperation and exchange of experiences in the field of agriculture of the two countries, as well as to discuss the possibilities of Kazakhstan's participation in the next fair events.
The Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands paid special attention to the topic of regenerative practices in agriculture and its role in the future of food production. That is why the perfect interlocutor in relation to these issues was Dr. Tatyana Brankov, an expert in the field of agroeconomics, who pointed out that regenerative agriculture today is one of the key answers to the challenges faced by modern agriculture - from soil degradation to increasingly pronounced climate change.
